Serbian students are the World Champions in solving the CBS Global Case Competition 2022 in Copenhagen

Students from Case Study Club of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade, became world champions at the prestigious CBS Global Case Competition 2022. The finals were held online on February 24th in the organization of Copenhagen Business School, and total of 300 teams from all over the world participated in the competition. The team representing United States of America won the second place, while the third prize went to the representatives from the Netherlands.

The task of study was given by company Pandora and participants were given 24 hours to solve the case. The topic of the study was to define the company’s growth strategy through an innovative approach to the young Y and Z generations. The students of the Faculty of Organizational Science proposed personalized customer experience trough digitalization and NFT technology, with implementation of solution on the Chinese and American market. The winning team consisted of four members: Dušan Višnjić, Aleksandra Krstajić, Marija Stojanović and Staša Stamatović that were under the mentorship of professor Vesna Damnjanović, Rastko Damnjanović and Vladimir Stojiljković.

The jury consisted of the representatives of management members of Pandora, Microsoft, Carlberg, Thornico and Bain & Company. The Serbian team was applauded for the team energy, presentation skills, innovative strategy, and technological solutions.

CBS Case Competition is a competition where the most talented undergraduate case teams from around the world are invited for an exclusive case experience in Copenhagen. Teams of 4 students come up with a solution to a real-life business. The competition is comprised of two rounds: preliminary case-solving and grand finale.
