Registration for the Study in Serbia webinar for international students in April is now open

Participants will learn how to search for English-taught study programmes and will be provided with useful information about higher education in Serbia, admissions to study programmes, and entry requirements.

Incoming CEEPUS candidates can opt for blended mobility in the summer semester of 2020/2021

Because of COVID-19, incoming CEEPUS candidates can now opt for blended mobility in the summer semester of the academic 2020/2021. Blended mobility implies that part of mobility is done online, and the rest is conducted physically. Incoming CEEPUS students and teaching staff will receive financial support for the virtual portion of their mobility. More information on the topic is available on the website of the National CEEPUS Office in Serbia.

Serbian students won a silver medal at the 6th China International College Students’ "Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

The mixed team of students from the University of Novi Sad and the Chinese Shenzhen University won a silver medal at the 6th China International College Students’ "Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The contest was fierce; it gathered 6.3 million competitors from 117 countries. Students from over 4100 universities submitted around 1.47 million projects. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia will offer 200 "World in Serbia" scholarships to international candidates in the ongoing academic year. Candidates that come from the Non-Aligned Movement member and observer states are eligible to apply.

Calls for applications for CEEPUS network and freemover mobility are closing soon

Call for CEEPUS mobility application for the spring term is closing on October 31, 2020. Freemover applications can be submitted until November 30, 2020. International students and academic staff from the CEEPUS countries can spend a mobility period abroad in Serbia. Also, foreign students enrolled in public higher education institutions in Serbia are also eligible to apply for a CEEPUS network or freemover mobility abroad. Admissions to undergraduate studies for the 2020 autumn intake are now closed

The first cycle of admissions to undergraduate studies in Serbia is now closed. Higher education institutions that still have some places left will take part in the second round of undergraduate admissions in late August. For master and PhD studies, admissions will begin in October. For more up-to-date information on the application procedure and deadlines, prospective candidates are encouraged to directly contact higher education institutions.

Accounting and Business Finance module at University of Kragujevac received international recognition

The Faculty of Economics, University of Kragujevac received an international accreditation of its bachelor studies module “Accounting and Business Finance” from the British Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) – the global professional accounting body offering the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification. This will make it easier for graduates of this Serbian university to obtain an international license as a chartered accountant.
