Belgrade's Faculty of Medicine celebrated over a century-long tradition

On December 9, the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Belgrade marked its 101st anniversary. The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, the Rector of the University of Belgrade, and the Minister of Education among others. The best students of the faculty were awarded.

 

The Faculty of Medicine was founded on December 9, 1920, and it is one of the oldest faculties of the University of Belgrade. It is one of the most prestigious medical institutions in Serbia and the region, with over 900 students enrolling every year. The faculty also invests in research in various scientific disciplines and recently has equipped its laboratories with new infrastructure and equipment.
