Study in Serbia at NAFSA 2023 Annual Conference & Expo in Washington

Study in Serbia team recently participated in the NAFSA 2023 Annual Conference & Expo, held by the Association of International Educators. The event, which took place in Washington from 30th May to 2nd June, brought together professionals from the field of international education and provided a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration. More than 8,000 attendees from higher education institutions, foreign governments, and other key industry stakeholders from around the globe were presented with valuable insights into the latest international education opportunities.

During the event, visitors had the chance to get information about studying in Serbia and interact with the members of the Study in Serbia team. In addition to learning about a diverse range of study programs offered by higher education institutions in Serbia in the fields of Engineering, Medical sciences, Natural sciences, Languages, Culture, and Arts, interested participants of the fair also had the opportunity to learn about the administrative aspects of studying in Serbia. With over 300 attendees at our booth, this international representation showcased the appeal of Serbian higher education institutions and the growing interest of students worldwide in pursuing educational opportunities in Serbia.

Moreover, numerous institutions expressed their interest in cooperating with Serbian higher education institutions within different framework programmes, such as bilateral agreements, Erasmus+, scientific research, summer schools, public-private partnerships, joint projects, and study programmes. By sharing insights, experiences, and best practices, we contributed to establishing collaborative initiatives, enhancing cross-cultural cooperation, and nurturing academic partnerships among institutions worldwide.
